Galaxy 1.8 fuel injector issue

Hi,

I then got a call to say new turbo is fitted but on the test drive the car was very loud and running roughly. He took it back to the shop and found that there is now an issue with fuel injector 1 and 3 and they need replacing.
He said this must have been an issue before it came in but I know the car was driving fine until late it started to smoke.
I'm no mehanic so just want to know if a blown turbo can cause issue with the fuel injection system?? Is it just bad luck that these are now gone or is there any other possible explanation?
Any advice would be great fully received.
