I got my UCDS adapter and full license.
Before I has a Kuga MK1 from 2011. There I have been working with the ELM.
In oder to work with the ELM ignition had to be turned on first, then ELM was connected.

Is this the same procedure with the UCDS? or can I connect UCDS adapter to OBD and Laptop then start my changes and UCDS will tell me what to do. Like turn on ignition, turn off etc?

I don't want to do something wrong when I start.
