Sorry for al the questions, but i need to make sure i don't wreck anything

The Sony update, is this only in Russian language? or does this also support English / other languages?
And for wich versions Sony is this possible? Standard, 6cd changer, DAB version.

DAB version has another loader and two tuners. So don`t try to update it.

I tried updating my sony radio, but it did'nt work.....

Both the normal and alternative loaders don't work.
the software says:

SBL check done.
FW check done.

The radio switches off for a short time and starts again.

Look at the earlier post. DAB version is not supported.

But i don't have a dab radio.

I've got a 6cd-version

Do you have CONVERS+ instrument cluster?

Converse do not let you do this. You should unmount Sony and flash it in Focus 2004-2011

0. switch IGN ON
1. switch Sony ON
2. check that RADIO mode is on
3. press 1 and 6 at the same time for 3 second
4. write all digits and symbols OR make a PHOTO
5. post it here

Try PC-off mode.

1. IGN on
2. SONY on
3. Connect UCDS adapter into CAN diagnostic jack WITHOUT Personal Computer
4. Press side button till the green led light.
5. Press and hold for 3 second front side button.
6. Wait for ~5 minutes (Sony will blackout)
7. Sony will start again - ask for KEY CODE - input it

Reinstall SONY to Mondeo (key code need again)

8. IGN on
9. SONY on
10. Connect UCDS adapter into CAN diagnostic jack WITHOUT Personal Computer
11. press side button till green and yellow (orange) led light (not flash)
12. press front button for 3 second
13. Wait till configuration will be done (5 seconds)
14. Enjoy

I hope this will work...

This procedure i will try today also, it has failed several times using PC method.
Will post result........
