UCDS and J2534?

Hello, I have a hardware question: will UCDS work with a DrewTech CarDAQ+ (or any other J2534 tool)? Or is it only compatible with the UCDS cable?

As i know it’s compatible only with ucds adapter (for licensing purposes)

The UCDS adapter supports j2534 e.g. works with Forscan.
This is more of a question for someone from DrewTech CarDAQ, how does j2534 support work.

So the UCDS software is somehow tied to use of the UCDS cable? I have 6 different J2534 passthrough devices, I have to imagine that the software would work with at least one of them.
