FF3 2016 the car has keyless entry but as it’s 2016 it did not have a setting in dash vehicle settings to disable keyfree I’ve updated the Instrument cluster through update wizard and sent a 2018 config by direct config to bcm and instrument cluster but when I select keyfree in dash it didn’t stay selected does anyone know how to get this working?

i think the issue is with the DDM and PDM software but when i try to update these it says something about sbl being incorrect and seed key not found.
the software for a car i know this to be working on is
DDM Driver Door Module (DDM) F1ET-14B531-BG F1ET-14C064-AG
PDM Passenger Door Module (PDM) F1ET-14B533-BG F1ET-14C108-AG

while my software version is
DDM Driver Door Module (DDM) F1ET-14B531-BF F1ET-14C064-AF
PDM Passenger Door Module (PDM) F1ET-14B533-BF F1ET-14C108-AF

the sbl listed in update wizard is F1ET-14C067-AB is this the correct one for vin WF05XXGCC5GL81010

I have updated the ddm and pdm with the same software on a model i know this option to work and also used direct config using the later car vin via etis to update the bcm and ddm ,pdm but this option still does not work when selected can anyone tell me why?

has nobody worked this out yet?

Most likely you need to do something with the RFA module, as DDM and PDM are not involved in the keyless entry / start process.

By update Wizzard I flashed the IPC on the last Calibration. Part Number is F1ET-10849-BJR, Current Version is F1ET-14C026-BBJ, Update Version is F1ET-14C026-BBJ, IDS Calibration Level is F1ET-10849-BJX. I was able to activate the Keyfrey Checkbox via Direct Config.

I also changed the settings in the RFA module, but still the checkbox does not work in the IPC.
I think the RFA module also needs a new calibration. Part Number is F1FT-19G481-AL, Current Version is F1FT-14C104-AL, Update Version is F1FT-14C104-AN, IDS Calibration Level is F1FT-19G481-AN.
Is it safe to flash the RFA module to the last callibration?

I also suspect the RFA needs updating im just too scared to do it in case it bricks it

pretty safe, at least for me worked well. best is to have both keys around you and an IDS handy, in the less likely case you need to reprogram the keys.

All sorted I updated RFA ok

Does Keyfrey Activation / Deactivation now work in the IPC?

The RFA update works without problems? The vehicle keys do not need to be reprogrammed? Can you give me your old and new calibration of the RFA module?

I had already thought about exchanging the RFA module for a new one. The module costs about 110 €, the new module, however, must be programmed with IDS (Keys).

Yes it is all working the info you need is in the link a few posts up if an update is showing as available for RFA just do the update you also need to update the IPC to have it in menu just make sure to read modules and save configs before updating
them.

Can I ask what files you had offered to update in the IPC via the Update wizard?

In my UCDS wizard I get an NRC message for the F120 line with no current software version shown, although there IS an update offered for this line?
Obviously I don't want to run the update with this "error" showing!!?

The RFA update wizard looks ok and is offering me the files mentioned above. I've not attempted this either given the "issue" with IPC wizard update.
Advice please.

@jimbojambojumbo I'm on the UK Forum you are on and saw ur posts there too ... I'd be grateful of any help please.

UPDATE: When I connect (2.4.3) to car and run the Module Update it shows all current files (unlike UCDS as mentined above) with files recommended as updates! Only issue is my battery is showing 11.5v and not the 11.6 requires!
